Access Permits for the 2026 Moose Season
Applications closed for 2026
J.D. Irving, Limited will issue 30 moose hunting access permits for the Taxis River and Clearwater management areas near Boiestown for the 2026 season. The number of permits was determined by wildlife biologists to maintain healthy moose populations in Wildlife Management Zone 12.
Eligibility Requirements:
- You must hold a valid 2026 moose license from the Department of Natural Resources and Energy Development for Wildlife Management Zone (WMZ) 12
- You must be a New Brunswick resident
- All permits will be allocated through a lottery draw
Deadline: Applications must be sent by email to langlais.daniel@jdirving.com by August 15.

- Completed waiver – scanned and emailed
- 2026 moose license – scanned and emailed
Important Dates
- August 15 – Application deadline
- August 30 – Draw date
- September 2 – Successful applicants notified by email
